Enjoy Your Country Wedding Day at Maple Grove

Maple Grove is the perfect wedding venue for your vintage inspired country wedding. We are committed to helping you create the rustic, country wedding day of your dreams and are happy to assist throughout your wedding journey. As every couple is unique, so are the visions of their perfect day. At Maple Grove, you have 21 acres of space to make yourself at home.

 

Our wedding package includes two nights accommodation in our luxurious guest house for the newlyweds, as well as two nights camping for your guests at our private campground. Our gazebo on the pond is a beautiful setting for your ceremony and the large maples offer shade from the sun for your guests. If you prefer a field or forest setting we have several to choose from.

    Just had our wedding at Maple Grove Guesthouse last weekend and it was the most amazing venue. Shannon was the greatest help and couple could ask for.     If you want a place with everything in one shot and to be spoiled rotten and have your day made perfect...this is the place to go. Shannon is AMAZING!!! We had our wedding there last July and it was perfect! Shannon and her team...mostly Shannon...are 5 star...She makes you feel like a princess and deals with everything! She truly makes the day so much more special. From the use of the campground, the guest house, her horses, and getting homemade breaky in the morning...what more could a girl ask for. All of my guests couldn't believe how amazing this place is....we had about 16 RV units in there and it was a wedding weekend worth celebrating...the kids even loved it there too! Shannon is a truly remarkable person and has truly found her calling! Thank you Shannon for making our day Perfect!!!!

  • Such a Wonderful Venue

    We got married here on Saturday and I couldn't wait to write a review! I fell in love with the property when we first saw it a year and a half ago and I am so glad we booked it. The guesthouse is beautiful, and breakfast on the Saturday morning was amazing. All of our guests loved the property and the ability to camp all weekend. We loved that Shannon checked in to make sure things were going well, and to see if we needed anything but wasn't intrusive. She left us to our own devices to have a fun time but was ready to do anything to help out (including running the guys through the ceremony rehearsal twice and getting the bridal party drinks). All of the animals are so lovely and it's easy to see why when they have such a wonderful person taking care of them!

  • An Amazing Venue

    My daughter married my dream Son-Inlaw here in the Summer of 2016. I had heard it was an amazing venue, but really has no idea what to expect I was beyond astonished at how lovely, Shannon had made not only the actual wedding site, but the reception area. She had transformed herself from an easy going fun woman into a no nonsense, take control professional. I was dumbfounded and extremely impressed as she made sure all of the wedding details ran smoothly and on time. No longer play but work. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for us as well as the bar (I will keep those stories from you) a sweet little playground, fire pit and camping. Magical comes to mind. I will always be grateful for my daughter's wedding. It was truly the very best wedding I have ever been too, and the venue the best. I highly recommend you start your life memories at Maple Grove Guest House, it is far beyond the name.

    Our wedding at Maple Grove on July 28, 2018 was truly phenomenal. Shannon went over and beyond the set expectations. When we first booked the venue Shannon was more than helpful and patient with all of our questions. She continued to stay in contact with us to make sure everything would be perfect for the day of. When the big day finally came she had the property looking stunning, trained her staff to be so friendly, and helped with the day to run smoothly.     The setting is incredible! Shannon does an amazing job of making sure everything is in order for the special day. The best part is the suite for the bride and groom and the back field where everyone can camp and really enjoy themselves. We had an amazing time at Kyle and Shawna Applejohn's wedding.     Had my wedding at Maple Grove Sept 20th,2014. it was PERFECT. Shannon is the most amazing help, so friendly and caring. The venue is the perfect place for ceremony and reception. The Guest House is gorgeous. All my guest loved the place! what a beautiful place. Makes for great atmosphere!!   • Most Magical & Amazing Weekend of My Life

    We had our wedding at Maple Grove Guest House on June 29, 2013. It was the most magical and amazing weekend of my life! The setting is something that needs to be seen to fully appreciate the beauty and tranquility of the place. Shannon has truly thought of everything and is there to help with every need. I had started planning two years in advance and over those two years Shannon successfully managed to continually calm my anxiety about doing a destination wedding at Maple Grove and all the little things that needed doing! I can't say enough about this place and the service she provides! I made my husband promise that we could go back and stay at the bed and breakfast every couple years because it is just too beautiful to not return to! Thank you Shannon your amazing!

Maple Grove has a stunning natural, country wedding backdrop for unforgettable photographs with no need to leave the property. After your ceremony, guests can stroll along the country nestled trail to our private campground, and enjoy many of our fun activities while waiting for your reception to begin. We provide all tables and chairs, washroom facilities, covered reception hall, dance floor, bar station, and much more. We will help plan your perfect day so it’s as stress free as possible and we are available to assist in anyway we can.

Once married, and upon arrival of the newlyweds, the country wedding festivities will continue in our beautiful post and beam 70′ x 30′ Reception Hall, furnished with decorations, tables and chairs, and room for 150 guests. Our separate Cook House is perfect for your caterer’s needs, or get the family together and create your own feast. Celebrate and dance into the night on the dance floor surrounded by family and friends.

We have hosted over 170 beautiful and unique weddings and believe our experience and passion make all the difference.

Newlywed’s Accommodation

Our 2 bedroom 1,500 square foot Bed and Breakfast suite is the ideal place for the newlyweds to get a luxurious, relaxed start to their new life together. Stay the night before your wedding and the night of your wedding, both are included in your wedding package. Comfort and privacy abound in your stand-alone suite with luxury bedding and fine furnishings. The perfect place to begin your Honeymoon after the perfect rustic, country wedding.

 

Enjoy massage therapy, a soak in the claw foot tub, or just relax by the pond with a good book. We are excited to offer an in-room espresso machine and continental breakfast.

 

Our guest suite is set far apart from the host’s residence and was newly constructed in March 2009. The suite is as allergy-free as possible (no pets allowed) and we only clean with Earth-friendly products. Nestled in the Cowichan Valley near Duncan, BC, Canada.

Guest Campground Accommodations

Two nights guest camping is included in the Weekend Country Wedding package. Your guests really get a chance to relax and mingle with relatives they haven’t seen in a while in this laid back atmosphere.

 

Bring both families together over a game of bocce, horseshoes or let guests tell favorite childhood stories around our fire pit area.

Information for Wedding Guests

* Gift certificates are available in any denomination for guests wishing to contribute to weddings.

* Guests are welcome to camp on site Friday and Saturday nights unless otherwise stated on your invitation. There is plenty of space for RVs or tents, however we do not have hook-ups.

* Guests not wishing to camp can find B&B accommodation at www.staycowichan.com

The nearby hotels are The Travelodge SilverBridge 250-748-4311 and The Cowichan Valley Inn 250-748-2722.

* Guests are welcome to begin arriving at 12:00 noon on the Friday before the wedding. Guests wishing to set-up camp before this time must make prior arrangements with Maple Grove.

* Smoking is allowed in designated areas only. The use of flares and firecrackers are strictly prohibited. Campfires are only allowed in the fire pit areas and are limited to the wood fireplace during fire bans.

* The speed limit on site is 5 km an hour in all areas. Please watch for children and animals.

* Dogs are welcome at the Reception and Campground as long as they are under control and not bothering other guests.

* At Midnight all sound levels are lowered. You can still have fun around the bonfire playing ambient music, someone playing the guitar etc. Your fellow guests who have gone to bed as well as our neighbours will be grateful 🙂
